I have a pattern of raised (swollen) areas in linear pattern. I am wondering if this is a normal presentation? Will my skintone remain this irregular? I have paid for 3 treatments and wondering if this is to be expected?

Its true you are slightly more swollen than I experience in my office but not to the point that I would be afraid. These circles are the laser beam marks and they do raise and swell especially on the neck. I do not see any burns so thats good. if it really bothers you or goes on more than 3 days ice and steroids will help.It may do this all 3 sessions but your outcome should look very nice.It looks like a nice even job without many missed areas

Some mild swelling is expected after the Excel V laser but this is more than expected. I would see your treating physician and consider a steroid shot. If the settings are at 10 msecs and not 12 msecs this can happen in the neck. The face is able to tolerate higher settings than neck or chest. I don't think any complications will occur if treated soon.

swelling and redness are normal post excel v. Give it a day or so, Benadryl and ice will help. It should all even out.
