Crying - hypopigmentation on forehead after Excel V! Makeup does not cover it! Help! (Photos)

Excel V is an excellent laser for vascular lesions, and it can improve the pigmentation to certain extent in an expert hand. Enlighten laser is much better than Excel V for pigmentation. You have not displayed your before photos, it is possible you have melasma and may be what you are seeing is, more of untreated rather than treated area. For hypopigmentation such as this I would recommend a combination of bleaching cream (AM + PM), Retinol (At night), SPF 30 Daily, wearing a large hat to protect the affected area from the sun for 4-6 weeks. I also suggest the cosmelan depigmentation peel. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer. 

The excel v is an excellent laser for removal of solar lentigines however it seems they wanted to cover a large area of the forehead places between the laser beams was unaffected thus still dark and the treated areas with significantly less pigment. I try to avoid this by doing 2 slow passes one horizontal one vertical to ensure i have conc=vered all of the area. If you desire I would show the doctor and ask about a second treatment and making sure all the areas are treated by going across the region slowly making sure the next beam is just on the edge of the previous. If not I believe in time this will resolve
