Post-op day 5 today, yesterday and today I woke up with a migraine. Do the migraines have to do with the BA?

I did not have a migraine before until post-op day 4 & 5. I wake up with a chronic migraine. No fever, but the excederine seemed to help yesterday. Is this normal?

There are many triggers for headaches after surgery.  Make sure you are staying well hydrated and using your medications as prescribed by your surgeon.  Migraines are not associated with the actual performance of breast augmentation surgery but other factors in the recovery period can contribute to headaches. Migraines are not specifically related to breast augmentation, but you may be experiencing some bodily disturbance due to your surgery (stress, new medication, dehydration) which is triggering the migraines.  Best to have your PCP check it out if it persists.  Hope this helps!
