I am female, age 67, weight 105. I have kind of a thick downturned nose. Can a tinker bell “lift” be done with fillers?
Answer: No you need a Rhinoplasty (Nosejob) Surgery | Facial Plastic Surgery | Expert | Revision | Non-Surgical | Filler | Liquid Rhino Hello and thank you for your question! It sounds like your primary concern is the shape and rotation of your nasal tip. To fix these issues, you would need to precisely shorten and rotate the nasal tip- and the strength needed to do this is not possible with fillers. The only way to properly address your issue is with rhinoplasty surgery- actually, addressing the shape of the nose (particularly the tip) is one of the most common reasons people undergo a rhinoplasty surgery. Many surgeons overlook key techniques that can otherwise soften the appearance of underlying structures, significantly improving tip shape and refinement. These specialized maneuvers require a high level of expertise and experience, which most surgeons simply do not have. Given your history, an open septorhinoplasty would be the best approach to precisely reshape your nasal tip, refine the bridge, and restore overall balance. In addition to reshaping your nose aesthetically, your septal cartilage (or an alternative graft material) would be used to create structural grafts, reinforcing key areas like the columella (the strip of tissue between your nostrils). This is crucial to maintaining long-term symmetry and preventing future distortions. Rhinoplasty is one of the most technically demanding procedures in all of plastic surgery—millimeters make all the difference. If a surgeon is only performing one or two rhinoplasties per month, they simply do not have the level of experience necessary to achieve the best possible result. Your nose defines your entire face—this is NOT a surgery to leave in the hands of just anyone. I have had extensive training in complex rhinoplasty, working under one of the highest-volume rhinoplasty surgeons in the world (who performs 1,000+ nose surgeries per year). If you’re serious about getting the best possible result, I’d be happy to see you for a consultation (Virtual or In-Person) where we can discuss your goals, perform a detailed examination, and create a customized plan for your ideal nose. I look forward to helping you achieve the refined, balanced nose you deserve! Dr. Donald Groves Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Lifting your nasal tip may require a rhinoplasty surgery. Based on your photo, the angle between the bottom of your nose and upper lip appears to be an acute angle. In our experience, as fillers do not do anything to lift someone's nasal tip. That may require rhinoplasty surgery. Thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

Answer: A Nonsurgical Filler Nosejob Can Elevate The Nose & Shape The Tip I have been performing nonsurgical filler nosejobs for well over two decades. The simple answer to your question is that in the hands of an experienced filler injector the base of the nose can be given a lift and the tip reshaped upward . Your job is to make sure to find a board certified cosmetic dermatologist filler expert and also to be sure to ask to see his/her personal befores and afters before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck.
