I'm not sure i understand this scenario. Are you saying you just had a rhinoplasty, during which a deviated septum was identified, but was not corrected during the surgery? If that's what you're saying, I'm very sorry you have been put in this position. A competent surgeon should be able to correct any internal issues with the nose during surgery. A step further would be that the surgeon should have identified the deviated septum prior to surgery during the initial physical examination. Did your surgeon look inside your nose prior to surgery? To answer your question, if only a septoplasty is needed at this point (i would be suspicious that there are other factors at play in your new onset nasal obstruction, ie nasal valves), thej it can be done probably within a few months. You definitely need to see a rhinoplasty expert who has experience in dealing with internal nasal issues. With bias, i would recommend a facial plastic surgeon, but there are certainly competent general plastic surgeons who could handle the procedure. I would really question the surgeon who did the rhinoplasty about what is happening here. You shouldn't have needed 2 surgeries in this scenario.
