I am specifically concerned about the redness and brown lining. Last night I noticed it turned a cream color. This morning the brown lining circled my belly button.

Thank you for your question and photo.  Silver sulfadiazine cream is a topical antibiotic cream.  It is commonly used for open wounds, abrasions and burns.  It suppresses bacteria and helps with wound healing.  With one's body heat, moisture and time it commonly becomes more of a liquid and can turn yellow or green suggesting pus.  It is important that your physician educate you on signs of infection and their recommended application and duration of treatment.  Good luck.
