Does drinking pineapple juice after rhinoplasty outway the negative if someone has a slight allergy to it?

Pineapple juice (bromeline) can reduce swelling after a rhinoplasty and I recommend it oftentimes for my patients. However, if you have an allergy to pineapples, I would definitely recommend against drinking pineapple juice. The swelling will resolve over time on its good luck. Good luck to you. 

There is no benefit and drinking pineapple juice after rhinoplasty. If you have any untoward reaction when consuming pineapple juice by all means leave it alone.

The answer is that YES pineapple has an
enzyme called bromeline, This supplements truly improve the swelling and
bruising.

If you have allergies that make your
throat swell, DO NOT USE IT. Remember that you won’t be breathing through your
nose.



You can try a pill with the bromeline. You
can find it at GNC. Try one pill and see how you react. If no swelling, this is
a good alternative.

You can also try Arnica as an
alternative.



Usually the dosing is 1 pill 3 to 5
times a day. I usually start after, because you never know how it can alter the
bleeding during your surgery.
