I'm unhappy with the back of my legs after lower body lift. Would additional lipo or a redo of the lift be beneficial? (Photo)

Lower body lift procedures are designed to optimize the shave of your buttock, contour your waist line, improve laxity in your lateral thighs, in addition to the obvious benefits of an abdominoplasty.   Maintaining harmony in contour from front to back is important.  Laxity in your buttock will cascade down to your thighs resulting in soft tissue concerns.  My recommendation is to visit with your surgeon and discuss the areas that bother you.  The solution may be easier than you may think.  However, if you have significant ptosis of your buttock, you may benefit from further skin removal in addition to conservative thigh contouring. Whoever you meet with, be very specific with your goals and expectations.Good Luck

Thank you for your question regarding whether additional liposuction or a redo thigh lift would be beneficial after a lower body lift. Thank you for your history and your picture. I would suggest liposuction of the posterior thigh where it bothers you and additional liposuction to the buttock. I would also consider fat transfer to the buttock if you want more shape and projection. Additionally, you can achieve more of an hourglass shape by performing liposuction above the hips for more of an hourglass shape. If you redo the lower body and lift, you will just be lifting the buttock. The lower body lift does not significantly affect the back of the thighs; the lower body lifts only affect the buttocks. Therefore, if you redo the lower body lifts, it would only affect the buttocks by making them smaller and not significantly altering the appearance of the thigh. I hope this answer helps.
