Crows feet and comma line worse after forehead Botox, will it wear off?

No new wrinkles or lines will be caused by Botox injection. Most of the time,people think lines are forming after the botox wears off which looks worse than before. This is simply your face returning back to its natural state.

The effects of Botox are temporary and gradually wear off over approximately three to four months after treatment. The comma that you mentioned is likely related to the injection and should improve. If you have concerns you can ask to review your before/after photos with your injector to discuss them.

Botulinum toxin will wear off. High doses of botulinum toxin last longer than small doses. Usually providers give a dose that would be expected to last 3-4 months.
Botox is an effective method to give some brow lift. The muscle that lifts the brows is called the frontalis which is in the forehead. This muscle can create a "comma" line. If a very small amount is injected into the comma it can relax, but there is a risk of causing too much relaxation which will cause the brow to droop.
Muscles that pull the brow down are around the eye and in the eyebrow region. If more Botox is injected into the muscles that pull down than into the muscle that lifts up, then there will be an overall lift to the brow.

Andrew, I think that the comma over brow certainly could have occurred after Botox. This can happen when muscles of forehead, which pull brow up, are relaxed and skin drapes differently. However, I have not seen crow's feet get worse as result of Botox in forehead. Maybe you are just seeing more contrast now that forehead smooth. The good thing is that your Botox should be about to wear off and everything will go back to where it was before. No permanent changes expected.
