I am a deflated 34dd due to having a baby and slight weight loss. I've seen a surgeon who said I cannot. I am not looking for the perfect looking boobs just huge ones. I want to be around a 34h. I've created rice sizers that are 600cc and they feel like the perfect size. Can I not just have large implants to stretch the excess skin around it.
Answer: Large implants Hi Halima, thanks for your question. You appear to have mild/moderate ptosis of your breasts. If you want to have very large breasts implants then you probably don't need to have a breast lift as the implants will fill out your breasts and lift your nipples. High profile implants would probably be the best option.

Answer: You would likely be happier Great question and you are not alone. No one wants to have a lift, but if your surgeon who has examined you in person recommended it, and it seems so in your pictures, you likely would benefit from it. You can have implants placed first and decide to do a lift or not later. We call this a staged procedure. It is not ideal and your surgeon may dissuade you from it. We simply expect our results to be all beautiful and your board certified plastic surgeon will want the best possible result for you. A lift will reposition the nipple/areolas up on the front of the implant instead of below the equator of the breast. Best of luck with your decision.

Answer: Breast lift with implant Hello and thank you for your question. The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. With that being said, based on your photographs, the best shape and contour could be achieved with an implant and a breast lift. A breast lift with an implant can result in a very nice shape if good technique is used. The size, profile, and shape of the implant is based on your desired breast size/shape, your chest wall measurements, and soft tissue quality. This decision should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon

Answer: Big implants to stretch... Based on your photos, I believe you will be better served by a combined breast augmentation and breast lift. Having big breast implants only can lead to excessive stretch, rippling and sagging in the future. With a 600cc breast implants the risks are higher and revision surgery also will be more risky. Consult only with board certified plastic surgeons.

Answer: Breast Augmentation with excess skin Thank you for the question and the photos. If you wish to be a 34H then a larger implant would be necessary and 600cc is a larger than average implant. However, on your photos it appears that the nipples are lower than the fold of the breast. An in person consultation can varify how far below the fold the nipples are placed but a larger implant may raise the nipple slightly (up to 2 cm or so) but it appears that your nipples may be more like 4 cm or more below the ideal position. If that is the case then larger implants WITHOUT a lift will appear like a "double bubble" from the side with the breast implant higher than the breast tissue. This can be improved by lowering the fold of the breast surgically to lower the implant to be more in line with the breast tissue but usually too much of that also looks a bit odd. I suspect your best option is a lift along with the implants. Make sure you use a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and good luck with your choice
