When can I do hot yoga and sauna after Vobella lip filler?

I recommend following up with your Doctor about their protocol regarding exercise after your procedures. I typically ask patients to wait a day before exercising. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

After injection of any lip filler, swelling is normal and gradually subsides in the next two weeks. I send all my patients home with verbal as well as written post treatment instructions that include all the do's and don’ts.  Any activity that worsens the swelling or slows down the recovery should be avoided. During the first 24 to 48 hours I recommend abstaining from exercise, hot sauna, face down massages, hot shower with water hitting your face, alcohol consumption and salty food consumption.

Hi. Yoga is generally ok a day after however, we always recommend no vigorous aerobic activity (such as running or a Zumba class) for 48 hours post injection. Yoga is typically not strenuous so even a day after injection you should be ok. However, it is always good to check with your provider. 

Vobella is the perfect lip filler for patients who want to “enhance” or “hydrate” their lips without changing the structure to their anatomy. Possible side-effect include bruising, swelling, and infection.
To avoid these risk we instruct patients to reduce strenuous activities such as exercise, and keep the injection sight clean for 24-48 hours.
