My upper nasal bone got dented. Now it has been 4 months post surgery for hump removing. Any suggestions? (photo)

Thank you for the question and the photo.  You may want to entertain using a little bit of filler such as Juvaderm to raise that area up.  The benefits of doing so is that both the cost and the down time will be minimal.  If it works then great and you possible change to Voluma (lasts 2 years down the road).  If you don't like it, it will naturally go away in 6 months.  Closed rhinoplasty to repair that area is also possible but I would anticipate some swelling and bruising and perhaps the need for taping.  There will be some degree of downtime associated with the closed rhinoplasty.Hope this helps.All the best,Dr. Remus Repta

Hi Saeed,Your doctors wants to place a cushed cartilage graft over the deperessed area and if so yes what he is saying is possible.This will be lasting change as compared to fillers htat has a life up to 6 months to 18 monhts depending upon the type of filler used.I wish you all the best
