Lumenis LightSheer Desire VS Cynosure’s Elite, are they both the same?

I am doing Lazer hair removal for my under arms. I just had one session and planning to change my medical center. The other center uses Lumenis LightSheer Desire. Which lazer is better? Should I go with Lumenis or stay with Cynosure? Or is both the same? Thanks

This is a good question with a good photo to compare against.  The appropriate laser choice really depends on an the treating physician in all honesty. You want to make sure that the treating physician is well versed in the use of that particular laser.  The LightSheer Duet by Lumenis...

We have both devices.  We find the lightsheer diode to be more effective typically, however, when we have darker skinned patients a BBL would be an appropriate choice as well, it just doesn't work quite as well in our experience. I hope this helps Dr. C
