Hello,Taking the Finasteride 5mg once every 5 days will not give you the same effect as taking 1mg a day. It will be best to discuss with your physician that prescribed the medication the best course of action.Regards,
You can split the pill ( 5mg) on 4 or 5 pieces. You can find the small machine at the pharmacy to split the pill in easier way. You take 1/4 or 1/5 per day. For your case, the hair transplant can be an option to restore the baldness area as it has an advanced level.
Excellent question. We don't have any hair loss research studies about your question. But I will suggest you to cut the 5 mg tablet in 4 pieces (1.25 mg each) then take one piece every day for 3 days and cut the other piece in half (.625) for day 4 and 5 or this is my suggestion plan: 1.25 mgs on days 1, 3, 5 and .625 aprox on days 2 and 4. Check with your local doctor but I will suggest you to add topical Minoxidil too. Good luck.
