Exosomes Hair Growth Therapy - why are we lacking before and after photos?

I am hearing a lot of rumors about exosomes for hair thickening. I have read a few studies that showed success in converting hair from telogen to anagen phase in mice in vitro. A lot of hair treatment doctors are offering the treatment at exorbitant costs, however none of them are showing any extensive patient testimonials or before and after photos. How is this possible? How can something that costs $5000 per treatment not have extensive documented positive results?

I am currently doing some studies using exosomes in patients with hair loss. One study is Exosomes used alone and one study Exosomes used in hair transplant patients. However the results can take 9-12 months to determine. I agree that there is currently no great studies or data available. This is a new option and I tell my patients that the costs are high and it is experimental. Some say its worth a try and some say I will wait until more data is available on the results.
