I know many types of facelift and how they've been applied but I never heard of "Elastic face lift/neck lift". Is it a new facelift procedure? How effective is the procedure? how long does it last? Is it true that it's two lifts in one procedure to maintain high level of symmetry? How much does "Elastic face lift / neck lift" cost? and why isn't it common! I searched ' realself ' and I couldn't find a single post about it... Can anyone please explain! - Thank you
Answer: Elastic Facelift Thank you for a great question. I have not personally heard of an "elastic facelift", but it is likely some type of facelifting technique that is being marketed with a branded name. I hope you find this helpful. Answer: What is "elastic facelift and neck lift" procedure? = marketing name #fb #marketing #branding #facelift #necklift "Elastic facelift and neck lift" procedure is very likely a marketing name or branding name for advertisement purposes. There are multiple types of facelift and their are named based on the medical description of the procedure (eg. SMAS facelift that addresses the SMAS tissues of the face, Cutaneous facelift that addresses just the excess of skin, etc). An "elastic" procedure is not a medical term for a type of facelift or neck lift, but as I mentioned before a marketing name to attract patients attention ( like "smart lipo" that is the marketing name of liposuction with laser skin tightening -medical term)

Answer: "elastic" facelift Yet another marketing ploy. There are only a handful of well-established and refined techniques for facial rejuvenation in plastic surgery which are effective for the vast majority of patient concerns; there are several more that are 'variations on a theme.' Beyond that, people have subsequently come up with DOZEN's of different marketing titles to 'repackage' them and sell them as 'new.' I would suggest a formal consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon who is up to date on the latest techniques so your specific concerns can be gone over in detail, a physical exam be performed, and individualized recommendations be made. Good luck!

Answer: Elastic facelift Thank you for the question and I have never heard of it either or heard it presented at a meeting so it is probably a marketing ploy. In my years of practice I have found that the high SMAS lift in the hands of an expert gives the best and longest lasting results.Dr. Corbin
