I'm a 25 year old woman looking to get an ethnic rhinoplasty. I've seen patients who have gone through surgery with minimal results. I was wondering if you thought this procedure could make my nose more symmetrical and appealing. Also will I be able to have this procedure for under $5000 USD Can BBL and Rhino be done together? Are there risks involved with doing them together?

Answer: African American Rhinoplasty Candidate Your nose can be improved with rhinoplasty. The most common things addressed by my African American patients in regards to their nasal shape are: Weak or thin cartilage in the tip of the noseThick skin on the noseA low nasal bridgeWide nostrilsWith over 2 decades of experience in the field of rhinoplasty and a sub-specialty of ethnic rhinoplasty, I use a different set of surgical techniques to achieve a look for that individual patient that maintains their ethnic identity while helping to provide them with the modifications and enhancements they desire. The most important thing you can do on your journey toward finding the right surgeon is to seek out a board certified facial plastic surgeon that specializes in ethnic rhinoplasty. You want to put your nose in the hands of experience and have a unified vision with your surgeon. Cost will vary due to facilities fee, anesthesia fees, etc. I am going to provide you a link to more information about African American Rhinoplasty and a video that also explains the procedure. I hope you find this information helpful as you move forward. Please feel free to reach out to our office in New York City if you have any questions. Sincerely, Philip J. Miller, MD, FACS Double Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Cheap Surgery is High Risk Surgery Hello, You can get a stunning result with an ABPS certified/ASAPS member surgeon (or AAFPRS equivalent) who specializes in open structural rhinoplasty. However, you won't find one who is experienced, skilled, and busy for that price. You will find a surgeon to do it for $5000, but you are more likely to have a problem or be unhappy with your result. Best of luck!
