A female Asian who wanted a slimmer and smaller nose and ended up with a defined and much bigger nose when viewed from side and 3/4 angle. I prefer the height of my old bridge. What can be done to bring down my protruding nose? Would revising my nose by replacing my current 3mm implant with a smaller one give me back the natural contour of my nose while making it a bit slimmer than my before nose? What would be done to the tip to match a smaller implant? Would an alar plasty be recommended?

Thanks for your question.&nbsp; I would expect your neck to appear smoother at this point in your post-surgical timeline.&nbsp; You should be able to have some improvement with a revision to that area.&nbsp;&nbsp;
I recommend you visit with your original surgeon and if this doesn't address your concerns, I would recommend you consult with another board certified facial plastic surgeon who is experienced or specializes in revision facelift/necklift.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Thanks for your question.&nbsp; My recommendation would be to work on the bridge of your nose to thin the sides.&nbsp; What you're seeing in your side profile is possibly just the thickness of the nose.&nbsp; Once the nose is thinner, the focus is more on the eyes. Find a board certified facial plastic surgeon experienced in rhinoplasty and schedule a consultation.&nbsp; Most surgeons have some sort of an imaging program where they can show you a general idea of what it will look like.&nbsp; Good luck!

I had a septo/rhino with turbinate reduction in 2015. This is my nose 3 years post op. While I'm somewhat ok with it, I would like to change a few things, to make it look more feminine. These include but are not limited to; a more refined front view contour (but to stay natural), a more smooth bridge , and the tip a tad bit shorter / lifted. Give me your honest opinion on how my nose looks and what I should do. I'm all in for a natural nose but this was underdone I feel.Especially my front view

Doing a browlift only may give you the result you are looking for.&nbsp; Adding the blepharoplasty may make the result better, but you need to do what you are comfortable with. Good luck on your surgery!

I will be having a lower face lift, neck lift and brow lift this coming February. My surgeon is also suggesting blepharoplasty. I’m terrified of the risks of having surgery and beyond terrified of having surgery on my eyelid. I’ve attached a photo (with my eyes closed to conceal my identity) which shows the loose skin on my upper eyelid + what my eyelid looks like if I pull my brow up with my fingers. I did 0.5 ml of Juvederm on the lip and the next day a little bruising came up on the left side of the upper lip. Is there anything to worry about? Or should I take any medication? How much time will it take to recover?

Thank you for your question. While it is possible to have a brow lift and reduce the size of your forehead, I advise against it. You’re only 19, and your face is going to continue to change as you age. There’s no reason for invasive cosmetic surgery when you’re as young as you are. If you want to lift your brows a bit, you might want to try Botox. A board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in facial procedures can strategically place Botox injections to subtly lift your brows without making you look permanently surprised. That is the extent of what you should get done at this time, and again, make sure that the surgeon you see is board certified and reputable. Good luck!

I’m 19 and naturally, my eyebrows are quite low on my face. However, my hairline is naturally quite high, and I have a widows peak. I was wondering if there is any possible way to have an eyebrow lift without making my forehead even worse? Is there any way to reduce it at the same time? I know that last question is probably dumb but I thought I would ask anyways. Thanks :)

From your picture, it doesn’t seem as if the asymmetry in your eyes is pronounced - and keep in mind that everyone has some degree of asymmetry, so this is completely normal. Hi I have recently noticed from about last year that one of eyes is larger than the other. The eyelid is more risen and it kind of droops down more in the lower corner. Also, my eyebrow is more risen and the hairs of my eyebrows grow downwards towards to front rather than the other eyebrow, which is straight and hair grows equally within the eyebrow. Why is this? Is there any treatment that isn't surgical or does it have to be surgical? Also, is this normal or is it very bad?

Thank you for your question. From your pictures, it appears that you could see a good result from Botox injections. That will not only address your forehead wrinkles, but can help raise your brow a bit as well. If you try Botox and feel like you need a more dramatic result, your next step may be a brow lift. Whatever you decide, make sure that you see a board certified plastic surgeon. Botox for wrinkles is a pretty straightforward treatment, but an experienced plastic surgeon knows the anatomy of the face and can inject strategically in other areas of the brow to add lift. Additionally, if you were to get a brow lift, the result will give you a permanently surprised look, which isn’t the look most people are going for. If your primary issue is migraine pain, Botox can provide some relief, while also lifting your brows just a bit. I suggest you explore that option first, as it can provide both pain relief and aesthetic results. I’ve struggled with migraines w/aura since my early teens. I’ve always had “too much skin” on my forehead, causing my eyebrows to “hang”. This makes me constantly flex the forehead muscles to reduce discomfort and keep my eyes open. I’ve researched what causes migraines, and such “hanging eyebrows” is frequently mentioned. Even if it is not causing the migraines, it is uncomfortable and very unflattering. Am I a candidate for a brow/forehead lift(or any other solution)?
