Thank you for your inquiry.  Revision Rhinoplasty with removing the implant would be required and placement of a graft would be appropriate.  I recommend you return to your surgeon to discuss options or consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon specializing in revision rhinoplasty.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Thanks for your question.  I would expect your neck to appear smoother at this point in your post-surgical timeline.  You should be able to have some improvement with a revision to that area.

I recommend you visit with your original surgeon and if this doesn't address your concerns, I would recommend you consult with another board certified facial plastic surgeon who is experienced or specializes in revision facelift/necklift.

Hope this helps and good luck!

How can I fix my side profile? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Thanks for your question.  My recommendation would be to work on the bridge of your nose to thin the sides.  What you're seeing in your side profile is possibly just the thickness of the nose.  Once the nose is thinner, the focus is more on the eyes. Find a board certified facial plastic surgeon experienced in rhinoplasty and schedule a consultation.  Most surgeons have some sort of an imaging program where they can show you a general idea of what it will look like.  Good luck!

Thanks for your inquiry! You are a good candidate for a revision rhinoplasty.  Using an open approach to thin the bridge and sides of your nose may be all you need to do.  This will help your tip to look more pleasing.  Finding a board certified Facial Plastic Surgeon with experience in revision rhinoplasty will give you your best result.  Good luck!

Doing a browlift only may give you the result you are looking for.  Adding the blepharoplasty may make the result better, but you need to do what you are comfortable with. Good luck on your surgery!

Thank you for your question. While it is possible to have a brow lift and reduce the size of your forehead, I advise against it. You’re only 19, and your face is going to continue to change as you age. There’s no reason for invasive cosmetic surgery when you’re as young as you are. If you want to lift your brows a bit, you might want to try Botox. A board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in facial procedures can strategically place Botox injections to subtly lift your brows without making you look permanently surprised. That is the extent of what you should get done at this time, and again, make sure that the surgeon you see is board certified and reputable. Good luck!

Thank you for your question. From your picture, it doesn’t seem as if the asymmetry in your eyes is pronounced - and keep in mind that everyone has some degree of asymmetry, so this is completely normal. Without an in-person examination, it is impossible to advise you about what treatment may address your concerns. My advice would be to schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon. They can examine you and offer recommendations for appropriate treatment. Good luck!

Thank you for your question. From your pictures, it appears that you could see a good result from Botox injections. That will not only address your forehead wrinkles, but can help raise your brow a bit as well. If you try Botox and feel like you need a more dramatic result, your next step may be a brow lift. Whatever you decide, make sure that you see a board certified plastic surgeon. Botox for wrinkles is a pretty straightforward treatment, but an experienced plastic surgeon knows the anatomy of the face and can inject strategically in other areas of the brow to add lift. Good luck!

Thank you for your question. A brow lift isn’t typically a procedure that is done at your age, because there is no excess skin to lift. Additionally, if you were to get a brow lift, the result will give you a permanently surprised look, which isn’t the look most people are going for. If your primary issue is migraine pain, Botox can provide some relief, while also lifting your brows just a bit. I suggest you explore that option first, as it can provide both pain relief and aesthetic results. My best advice would be to schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in Botox and talk with them about your concerns and desired results. Good luck!
