It depends on the size and number of the areas treated as well as your pain tolerance. If you are having one small area treated like under your chin there really is no downtime, maybe a day. If you are having your entire abdomen treated it will take a few days. Without more specifics on your case I would refer you back to your surgeon

I would check back with your surgeon in Arizona. It is unusual to have pain 3 months after a lipo procedure. If you only want pain control there are doctors, usually anesthesiologists, who specialize in pain.
