Hi.. thank you for the question, generally you can be returning to light duties 10-15 days after the procedure, if you are traveling to have the procedures done, after 7-10 days, depending on how you recover you can fly back home.
In most cases, you can expect to return back to work in about two weeks. At this point, you can increase your activity slowly until about at six weeks, at which time you have no restrictions.
Thank you for your question. After liposuction and BBL, patients can return to light activities almost immediately after surgery, normal activities 2 weeks after surgery, and vigorous exercise 4 weeks after surgery. We usually experience a slow steady improvement for 3 months or so after surgery. The most important thing is to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety. Don’t settle for less than a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.
The short answer is - 3 weeks. The longer answer is that BBL results are highly dependent on the surgeon's process and surgical technique along with the patient's adherence to post-op instructions.Liposuction is first part of the Brazilian Butt Lift procedure, followed by processing of the fat that has been extracted and then reinjecting the processed fat.Because the BBL is a fat grafting procedure, the recovery period is at least 3 weeks. If you sit on your buttocks sooner than that, it can prevent some of the fat grafts from surviving. Squatting and stretching are not as bad as sitting, but they can also place significant shear and tear stress on the tissues.During those initial 3 weeks, the the blood vessels grow into the fat grafts, they begin to strengthen, and the extracellular matrix surrounding the fat graft takes another 2-3 weeks to reach enough strength to withstand minor stresses - which is why 3 weeks is the earliest a patient can begin stressing the tissues. You should plan for 3 weeks of mostly resting on your stomach and/or sides, getting up occasionally to limber up the muscles, but avoiding anything that places stress on the healing tissues. We advise our BBL patients as follows:Bed rest and fluids for the first week.Compression garment 24 hours a day for the first two weeks.Minimum of two weeks off from work (if you can work without sitting in the 3rd week). No sitting for three weeks. No driving for three weeks.Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced with performing brazilian butt lifts and can explain the techniques used and answer all of your questions prior to surgery.Best wishes!
Hi and thanks for the question. For my patients the average amount of time required until returning to a desk job is about 10-14 days. By 6 weeks most patients have much of the soreness resolve. By 3-4 months is when the cosmetic results have really taken shape. Best of Luck- Dr Hardy
Thanks for you question. When liposuction is done, the best for the patient is to walk as soon as possible. Because it Helps the blood supply, venous return, and Prevents strokes. For This I recommend walking to the 2nd. day of surgery, can travel 10-15 days. Depending on the type of work, the patient and Their recovery, you can return to work after the 2nd week of the intervention.Best regards!
The most probable reason that you are seeing many people wanting a second BBL is 1: un-realistic expectations2: poor communications and understanding of what can and can not be done and achieved.3: not understanding the limitations of fat transfer4: Rushing the decision to have the surgery to...
Hi and thanks for the question. You will need care for at least the first 24 hours continuously after having this procedure. After that it depends on how you feel but you will likely need assistance with daily activities for at least 2-3 days after surgery. Best of Luck- Dr Hardy
Usually a low INR is not a problem but it is probably worth while to see a hematologist to be properly evaluated.
