Hi I've got no arch in my eyebrows so decided to have a brow lift to get more of a arch but it never worked I went back again to have more put in but never worked again. Why is it not lifting my brows
Answer: Why is Botox not lifting my eyebrows? Hello Jess. The only muscle that can lift the eyebrow is the frontalis muscle. Let's be sure you're not being injected in the frontalis with Botox. This would cancel out any effect an injection into the "depressor" muscles would have and leave you without the desired browlift.Speak with your injector about your goals and expectations and review has been done up to this point.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO

Answer: Botox brow lift Hey Jess, Brow arching is achievable with botox in most cases. It all has to do with where the injections are placed and how much in each location. The face is extremely complex, all the structures have muscles that pull on these in nearly all directions.. The brow has muscles that pull it up and muscles that pull it down... If you weaken the muscles that pull it down... the brow raises... Specialized and trained technique is required for this treatment. For your current situation, sometimes additional treatment can be used- occasionally you may have to wait a couple months for the current treatment to wear off. hope this helps and God Bless! Dr. Robb

Answer: Botox brow lift A Botox brow lift is typically quite subtle. Results depend on the experience and technique of the injector. Usually Botox will in fact sag the eyebrows unless attention is given to avoid this. Seek the advice of an experienced plastic surgeon’s clinic. Its possible surgical browlifting may be worth expolring for you.

Answer: Botox Not Lifting Brows Thank you for your question. Brow position is determined by the interaction between facial muscles that lift the brow (mainly the frontalis muscle in the forehead) and those that depress the brow. Most Botox "brow-lifts" involve treating some of the depressor muscles to temporarily paralyze them, and lift the brow. The results can be subtle, and if your injector is overtreating your forehead muscles, this drop your brow and will counteract the effects of any brow-lifting injections. I would recommend scheduling a consultation with a cosmetic dermatologist or a plastic surgeon, as they have specialized training in facial anatomy, particularly as it pertains to cosmetic procedures.

Answer: Why is Botox not lifting my eyebrows? Thank you for your question. A Botox brow lift can be very subtle. Some patients achieve more lift then others. Sometimes not achieving a lift has to do with the technique and placement of the Botox. If you’re unhappy with your results, I recommend seeking out a new injector for an evaluation and treatment plan. Best of Luck!
