Answer: Grit in eye after Botox Thank you for your questions. It has been shown that Botox can cause “dry eye” syndrome, especially when injected into the crow’s feet area. One of the symptoms is the sensation of a foreign object, or grit, is in the eye. I recommend seeing an ophthalmologist for an evaluation and a treat plan. Best of Luck!

Answer: Grit Botox has been repeatidly shown to be able to cause "dry eye" syndrome, particularly when injected laterally in the Crow's feet area. One of the dry eye symptoms is the sensation that a foreign object (grit) is in the eye. See an ophthalmologist for guidance on what to do to prevent permanent damage to your eyes.
