these are natural tendons that occur and nothing improves these but fillers and plasma pen can help. at home dermarolling and peels like enlighten should be done at home.at home peels like cosmelan, enlighten and aerify along with dermarolling (emerageskin roller with anteage MD ampules) should be started now. There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat will such as lower eyelid blepharoplasty with or without fat pad repositioning will be the best long term. There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles without surgery. Non invasive less downtime options such as fillers, lasers, microneedling/PRP, cosmelan peels, and microneedling RF like Fractora or morpheus can all help give some improvement. Accutite can often be used or stronger lasers like erbium or co2 spot treatment can tighten the skin and give very quick improvement in wrinkles and texture. I suggest you get a formal consultation to see what is best for you and your goals. Best, Dr. Emer.
As a matter of fact, I treated a woman just last week with a similar issue of a tear trough-like "divot" when she smiled, but predominantly under her left eye. After delineating the exact borders of the divot at maximal smile, a very small amount of Belotero Balance was injected superficially into the divot at rest, just enough cover the entire delineated area, which led to immediate and significant improvement. Hope this helps. Since the under eye area is not a place for inexperienced injectors, make sure that you consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist or other experienced core aesthetic physicians. Best of luck.
Hi,This is a normal appereance when smiling because of the mussels and tendons of the eye area which make the gestures. But if it is still prominent in the normal non smiling posture, my advice is a thin and high biocompatibility product such as Redensity 2 for your tear trough. Best wishes,Op Dr Ebru Acar, Ophthalmologist- Oculoplastic Surgeon
The divots you’re referring to under the eyes appear to be there when you are smiling. Since they’re there when you smile, I would not do anything for them since they are created by the muscles in the area. However, should you have the same divots when your face is at rest, you can correct the hollows by means of fat transfer. In my hands fat transfer provides natural and permanent results. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City plastic surgery
Your problem is easily treated by an expert injector, but does require exceptional knowledge of the anatomy of the area.
Yes it will help give you contouring but will not change your bone structure that is needed long term so fillers are an option now but long term an implants or jaw surgery/chin surgery will be best with or without fillers. Best, Dr. Emer.
I recommend fillers to soften the nasolabial folds themselves and also lift around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine Sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, skin tightening treatments such as Thermage, Fractora, and Renuvion...
Please see a doctor for prescription of topicals to help the atrophy and resurfacing along with a superficial small dose of dermal filler into the area. Make up will have to do, if filler cannot be done.
