I am 38 years female. I am facing hair loss for last one year. Last one month it is terrible. I am suffering from vitamin D deficiency and have dandruff also. Now I am having treatment. Is there any chances of regrowth of my hair ? What is the percentage of regrowth?

I have seen many patients with Vit D deficiency and hair loss. If you are not noticing any hair regrowth after 8-12 months then I won't suggest any other type of hair loss treatment until you see a hair loss specialist to rule out any other hair loss causes. Good luck

It is unlikely that your hair loss is due entirely to vitamin D deficiency alone. In fact, yoir photos would suggest androgenetic alopecia as one possible cause and others may be present as well. Be sure to see a physician for guidance. You need to address the specific condition in order for their to be a chance for improvement. Supplementation and improvement of vitamin D levels alone is unlikely to generate much in the way of improvement.

The relationship between Vitamin D deficiency and genetic hair loss in women is not clear. If after correcting the Vitamin D levels the hair loss does not return in a year, consider Scalp Micropigmentation as a cosmetic solution
