What corticosteroid cream/ointment would you recommend for post Rhinoplasty?

I agree with the plastic surgeons you have seen. Steroid break down tissue and can make you nose look worse. Steroids can depigment the skin, they can dry up the fat under the skin, they can thin the skin itself and they can do it with not a lot of predictability. Topical steroids will not be of any benefit. If the nose is thick and heavy, you may require a revision. Talk to your surgeon about a revision rhinoplasty, or maybe they already spoke to you about one. Good LuckStephen M. Some surgeons are liberal with their use of steroids, but I've seen skin loss the size of a nickel with exposed cartilage after another surgeon was overly ambitious with a steroid treatment.You could get a second opinion. Some rhinoplasty surgeons get nice improvements with steroid injections, but there is a huge downside. I personally agree with your plastic surgeon.
