I had Asian eyelid surgery 10 months ago and still have lumpy scar tissue beneath the skin, cysts that kept forming. It's very noticible when I look down and the white scar on the end of my left eye can be seen even with my eyes open. I've tried silicone sheets, massage and steroid injections. What else can I do besides a revision surgery? I won't be able to consider revision for a few years due to timing.

Answer: Pre tarsal swelling and scarring after Asian eyelid surgery
Thank you for asking the question. You already have a slight epicanthic fold. If you want to make it deeper then you may want to undergo an Asian blephroplasty or double-eyelid-surgery. You should contact a Plastic surgeon who has experience in creating such folds.Good luck!Regards, Dr. Amit Gupta
After eyelid surgery redness and itching of an incision can be normal in the first 2-4 weeks. Take antihistamines, maybe a short course of oral steroids, and go see A DOCTOR. We can't help you with that online and it's probably a bad idea to use antibiotic ointment for that.Chase Lay MDAsian e...
Typically the crease will decrease in height but don't be alarmed yet. In some cases as the swelling subsides the crease can actually stay the same or appear higher, although, typically it does go down.We can't help you much without some photos.Best of luckChase Lay MDAsian eyelid surgery ...
