I would avoid strenuous activity for a few days. If you dont have any open areas or blistering after that, then you should be fine if you can keep the area covered and clean.
I would suggest waiting 24 hours and then you should be fine provided there are no blisters. Strenuous activity may result in some additional swelling. If you're unsure, ask your provider to look at the area and assess for any issues before participating. Be well, Dr. M
