I want to know if getting dermal filler in stretch marks is possible. I know there's radiasse available but I heard that creates lumps that can't be dissolved. I want to get dermal filler applied to smooth out the texture and then get scar camouflage to conceal the color
Answer: Subcision, HA Skinboosters/Fillers/+Manual Microneedling For Stretch Marks The short answer is yes. I have been treating stretch marks with a combination of subcision +/- filler for many years for smoothing the striae and manual microneedling (no need for the added expense and risks of RF microneedling) accompanied by the application of topical latanoprost and tyrosine for blending better the surface color and textural irregularities with the surrounding normal skin. You would be wise to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist and best of luck.

Answer: Stretch marks For stretch marks you may want to consider SkinPen microneedling or Morpheus8. These treatments can soften the appearance of stretch marks. Three to four treatment sessions one month apart is recommended for optimal results.

Answer: Stretch marks options never include dermal fillers. Its all about BioStimulants Stretch marks are scars, so there are areas of bad collagen. Dermal fillers with HA will not improve anything in them. Radiesse or Sculptra are excellent solutions to try and replace bad collagen with good collagen. You will also need lasers to soften the scars for even better results and do color correction unless you have dark skin . Combination treatment with the right technology, with the right patient, will yield amazing results. Not all patients are the same, not all patients have similar stretch marks as they differ in their width snd color, so not all patient benefit from the same intervention. In our practice, we turn away 50 % of patients with stretch marks as many have totally unrealistic expectations and have waited too long to seek treatment or not willing to commit to multiple sessions and multiple combination treatments. Also read about harmful elements of tattoo pigment which is far worse that a little lump from biostimulant, which is super rare. Good luck.Best, Dr.Avaliani

Answer: Dermal fillers with no dermis Dear Fantastic, "Dermal fillers" need to be injected into the dermis layer of the skin. The problem with stretch marks is that there is essentially no dermis into which the fillers can be injected. This is why stretch marks are such a frustrating condition to correct. Good luck!

Answer: Fillers for stretch, mark treatment Fillers are used to “fill” out hollow areas on the face or body. Stretch mark is a literal break in the skin without becoming hollow. By adding fillers, you will not improve on the stretch mark’s appearance, but only create unnecessary bumps. Micro needling of 2 1/2 to 3 mm in needle depth will help Stretch mark appearance. If stretch marks are fresh and red, pulse dye or yag-1064 laser will help improve the appearance of the stretch mark I hope this helps and good luck from New York City Plastic Surgery.
