Please leave it alone. The tear trough is a very unforgiving area. If someone is telling you no, believe them. There are too many problems with tear trough filler and overdoing it. It is ALWAYS better to undertreat than to overtreat. Yes, you may have a micro area of some additional hollowing, but I would not recommend filling compared to the risks of filling for something so subtle. The provider is correct that some of what you are seeing now is the fat of your eyelid coming forward, and this is not something that can be treated with filler.

The photo provided does not show enough of the cheeks to be able to address this issue. But, since the upper cheeks are a major support for the infraorbital area, very often the under-eyes can be improved by the skillful, experienced use of a robust HA volumizing filler just for the upper cheeks.
