Hi i had alarplasty done on january 2012 (9 months ago) im left with the scar i feel there depressed scar what can i do to improve this scars so the lines wont look harsh i kno dr.'s say is unperceptable or you cant see unless there looking at you down but mine are deep line scars and when i wearing makeup i can see the lines but what can i do to improve them thank you for your time and advise.

Your result has nice symmetry although I agree that the result is subtle, yet natural looking. It can always be revised and narrowed further if you desire. This can be done under local anesthesia in about thirty minutes.

Going into the sun without sunblock can make your scar more visible. Smoking does slow your healing process, we would not recommend. Swelling takes 6- 9 months for it to completely subside.
