What you are describing is actually volume loss, and while a facelift will tighten skin it will not correct your specific concerns by adding volume. I would say that starting with dermal fillers to minimize your nasolabial folds and lift and re-contour your cheeks would eliminate the heaviness in the jowls and produce a result that you would love. I would seek treatment from a highly skilled injector or board-certified plastic surgeon who is able to keep you looking very natural while addressing your concerns in a way that leaves you feeling more confident.
Thanks for the question, it depend on your preference after your hear the pros and cons of each treatment, if you have a loose skin filler wont help you that much.
Thank you for your question! At this time you look like you'd be a great for injectables such as Voluma, Juvederm and Botox. The Voluma will give you a nice subtle and natural lift from the apples of your cheeks while the Juvederm fills in your marionette lines. Botox would be great in ridding any tiny fine lines round your eyes that you may have. Scheduling an in-person consultation with a surgeon or an accredited nurse injector will give them a chance to truly evaluate which injectables you would benefit from. Good luck!
Thank you for your question and for attaching photos. Since your concern is the nasolabial folds, fillers are a great option. A face lift is a great procedure, but it does not correct this area. Many times fat grafting is done at the same time of a face lift to improve the NLF area. Find an experienced injector in a dermatology or plastic surgery practice for your fillers. You should be happy with the results. Best of luck.
Great question! At your young age, surgery seems like too much. I would recommend fillers to both your nasolabial folds and corners of your mouth. Columns of hyaluronic acid such as juvaderm ultra or ultra plus can be laid under the skin to lift the mouth corners up too. The goal with fillers is to diminish shadows and the result is immediate. Find someone in your area who has great reviews. I have a nurse who has worked for me for 28 years is amazing. Some surgeons love injecting too.
If you feel that your face does not reflect how young you feel on the inside, a facelift may be the solution to help you look and feel younger. During your consultation, your doctor will evaluate your skin texture and elasticity, as well as your underlying skin structure and your facial bone structure. Based on this evaluation, he/she will create a custom surgical plan, detailing specific techniques and recommendations to meet your goals. Your doctor should make sure you have a full understanding of what results to expect.Always insist on a board certified surgeon!#drright #facelift
Fillers are the best treatment for your nasolabial folds. A facelift does not correct these as well as we would like them to and at 38 you are too young for the procedure.
Dear Gettingoldr150,Thank you for you question and photo. I would definitely start with fillers in both the nasolabial folds and in your cheeks to help soften the folds and to help elevate the cheeks. This can give you a more rejuvenated appearance, while avoiding surgery. For all dermal fillers, I recommend using cannulas to reduce any swelling or bruising associated with the injection. Best regards,Nima Shemirani
Fillers are good first step in reducing the prominence of these folds. Fat grafting, although more invasive would also help. Your best option is a combination of a mini lift with fat grafting but this would involve surgery.
Hello and thank you for your question and photos. This is an exciting time to be in the Aesthetics field as there are many options for you and your provider to discuss that would correct the folds around your mouth, all are non-surgical with excellent results. I would recommend a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon that could review your options with you. This will give you the opportunity to explain your desires and you will have a better understanding of the plan and outcome. Ultherapy, euro threads and fillers are all excellent choices and we find our patients very satisfied with their results.
The ASPS and the ISAPS are societies. I would recommend first looking for an experienced surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). That is a rigorous certification process that involves extensive surgical training, written and oral board examination, on...
The Answer is yes. CD-4 counts and viral load are important labs to evaluate your immune status. Ultimately your plastic surgeon and infectious disease doctors will advise you more regarding your candidacy. Best Wishes
Thank you for asking about your facial ultrasound. What you describe is sounds like nerve or muscle injury. It is probably minor and will probably resolve on its own.You should return to the treating doctor so s/he knows what happened - The settings were probably too high at least for you.Always ...
