Can septorhinoplasty cause vision problems and or foggy head

Question

I had a septorhinoplasty 5 months ago and since then I noticed I started getting blurry vision... do u think maybe cause my bones in my nose were narrowed it caused vision problems or pinched a nerve or something in there? Cause it won’t go away it been on and off for the last 4 months and I’m really getting concerned cause I have trouble concentrating also.

It's normal to have vision problems/foggy head right after the surgery, because of anesthesia. However, you shouldn't be having these after 5 months following your surgery. It has a lot to do with your surgeon's experience. Some surgeons might harm your optic nerves during the operation. If your surgeon is experienced is enough, you won't have these problems. I suggest you to visit an ophthalmologist and a neurologist.

Dear Kingb28, In the first week after surgery you may have issues with foggy head or blurred vision due to the swelling and the medications. However, this far post surgery you should not have these concerns due to septorhinoplasty surgery. See your regular physician for a consultation or a referral to a specialist.
