There is no adverse reactions if Botox is injected after Xeomin and the two can be used interchangeably. The question is, why would you want to do that? If your muscle has been sufficiently weakened then there's no point in adding more.
I recommend that you visit an experienced injector. In my practice I treat the area to obtain the desired effect. The number of units necessary for a "touch-up" at 2 weeks is usually significantly less than 20 but I have seen patients requiring more neurotoxin in this area.
Sure, it is possible to safely do this. I have many patients who get 50 units of Xeomin or Botox along the brow for the Microdroplet Lift treatment that I perform. The question here is what is actually going on with you and what problem are you looking to solve.
No, there won't be an adverse reaction between Botox and Xeomin. I recommend getting a formal consultation with an expert. You can always add more toxin but you cannot remove it. Best, Dr. Emer
I would not expect any problems with injecting Botox to the glabella 2 weeks after Xeomin was injected there. The dosing would be up to the physician treating you.
Thank you for your question. There is no problem receiving Botox 2 weeks after Xeomin treatment. However, I do not understand why you would need 20 units on Botox on top of 30 units of Xeomin. 50 units to glabella region is too high of a dose. I recommend seeking out an expert injector.
Thank you foryour question Lillian76915. Botox and Xeomin are purified proteins used to address wrinkles associated with facial expression such as the vertical lines seen between the brows when one frowns. Although there is no contraindication to adding 20 units of Botox two weeks after a treatment with 30 units of Xeomin, I would ask why one would want this. 30 units of Xeomin should suffice to address these wrinkles. If more is necessary, I usually recommend 4-10 units in the area for my patients. Please consult witha doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!
there is no problem getting more toxin after 2 weeks and the two are essentially the same but 50 units of Botox or Xeomin in the glabellar area is a high dose
I often add a small amount of Botox two weeks later to patients in follow-up. It should be perfectly fine as long as you wait two weeks to evaluate the area. Best. Dr. Green
Thank you for your question. I am sorry this has happened to you. This is due to your Botox being placed too low below the crow’s feet and paralyzing your zygomaticus muscles (smile muscles). Unfortunately, Botox takes 3-4 months to wear off. I recommend you seek out a new injector.
Thank you for your question. I am sorry this has happened to you. This happened because the Botox was injected to low around your eyes and has migrated to your cheeks. Unfortunately, this is nothing you can do until the Botox wears off in 3-4 months. I would inform you injector of this so they...
Thank you for your question. Botox is used cosmetically to remove wrinkles by temporarily paralyzing muscles. Botox can be placed in the corner of the brows for an eyebrow lift to help with droopy eyelid (ptosis). This works by relaxing the muscle that pulls down on the corner of the brow, thus...
