Swelling after fillers is very common (even in areas close to the injection site) and sometimes can last up to 5 - 6 weeks. If you are still have problems a month and a half after your treatment, contact your provider.
Please follow up with your treating physician for an examination and discussion of potential causes for the issue.
I would return to your injector for an evaluation. It is not contraindicated to fly after having a Juvederm treatment. It is best to speak with your provider to assess the symptoms you are experiencing.
I don't restrict my patients on flying and the swelling is not related to that. I'm not sure what the swelling is but I would discuss with your provider. It could be completely unrelated to the injection. I'm also not sure of the degree of the problem. You shouldn't have swelling after 2 weeks from filler in this area.
I would immediately return to your board certified treating dermatologist for evaluation. It may be sign of infection or other problem since there should not be swelling in an area that was not directly injected. Please keep us posted. Best, Dr. Green
I concur please return to your injector. If there is pain or increasing swelling you would be wise to seek urgent medical attention.
Please return to your doctor for assessment to see if the swelling is related to your Juvederm injections.

I am not aware if the filler you used , But many people try different fillers together , but just to be certain, i would follow up with your injector
If you are unhappy with filler it is easily dissolvable. I would follow up with your treating physician and have it removed. Good luck
Hi there! Many thanks for your question...How long does juverderm last on people who first get their lips done? This depends on the product used and quantity. Personally I use the juvederm vycross range. A lovely soft and natural looking lip plump with 0.5ml should last around 6-9 months. I t...
These are both Allergen HA fillers made with different technologies. The way to think about it is that Voluma is like a tight french braid that doesn't let in a lot of water and therefore gives you a greater lift in the cheeks, while Juvederm XC is like a loose braid that will allow water...
I would highly recommended Juvederm , many people have reactions to collagen, but wait and ensure the reaction is 100% subsided before you try another filler
