I had a breast lift with augmentation May 6, 2017 I just used sally Hansen spray tan I put it on my hand first as that's the right way to apply it. Now I am noticing two small bumps on my incision scars that are hard to the touch and I'm scared I might have an infection !

Answer: Suture Reaction is Common After Breast Surgery This has an appearance that we see quite commonly a few weeks after surgery and is consistent with some reaction to a buried stitch.Have your surgeon check it for you.

Answer: What is this bump on my breast lift scar? Thank you for your question. Based on your pictures, it looks like its a spitting suture. A spitting suture generally refers to a suture breaking through the surface of the skin. As sutures dissolve under the surface of the skin, some people’s bodies can push parts of these sutures out of the body. This generally happens a few weeks to a few months following surgery. This can take the form of a small open wound or what looks like a large pimple that is often accompanied with a small amount of discharge. Usually once the suture is removed the discharge stops and the wound heals. I would suggest to contact your surgeon so he can remove the suture.
