Headache after BBL, is that normal?

Question

I am 8 days post op and the last 3-4 days I have been experience headaches, specially in the morning when I wake up, sometimes goes away after I eat some other times comes back after some hours. My doctor said It might be that I am anemic but I am getting worried :-S

Thank you for your question, I would advice you to visit your Doctor for a  follow up appointment, there's several factors that can be causing you those head aches, low hemoglobin levels, it is also a post anesthesia symptom. Both are normal causes for these head aches however they are easily managed with pain medication and taking Iron during your recovery.Good luck.Salvador Pantoja M.D.

If you were placed in the prone position during your BBL surgery and you had your surgery under general anesthesia, you were face down on the operating table for some period of time. This can cause a headache postoperatively. Ask your surgeon how many hours it took him or her to do your surgery and whether you were in the prone position.
