Will a brow lift damage my hair transplants?

Hi and thanks for your question. Our plastic surgery practice is unique as we not only perform all cosmetic plastic surgery procedures but have a very busy hair restoration practice so I completely understand your concerns. Any browlift procedure carries a risk of hair loss, but a hairline incision is least likely to permanently damage your transplants and not alter the position of your existing hairline. Your scar may be more noticeable for a few weeks but will fade with time. Even if you do lose some hair follicles after a browlift they can be replaced at a later time with further transplants (provided your donor area is adequate).Please see the web reference below for more information. Best of luck!

  A well executed browlift will not damage hair follicles from a hair transplant.  The incision placement for a browlift can be made at the hairline in order to shorten the forehead, or behind the hairline to lengthen the forehead. For many examples, please see the video and link below
