Hello, Thank you for your question. Swelling is expectable after Hair Transplant, and especially when the hairline was restored, But normally patients look good and almost all the swelling should be gone within 7-10 days post op. Based on the photo, your transplanted part looks as it should be looking by 2 weeks post op

In your submitted photos the transplanted scalp appears to be fine. But persistent swelling and headache could suggest the possibility of infection. Have you experienced fevers, chills, or sweating while sleeping? Infection after scalp surgery is not common, but it can and does occur. I would inform your transplant surgeon about this and have him/her examine your scalp to rule out infection.

Some patients may have some lingering swelling and tenderness up to 2 weeks post procedure. However, this is not common. Based on the pictures, everything looks the way that it should. I would suggest that if you ever have any concerns with your procedure, it is always best to ask the doctor that performed it for their opinion. 

At this point in time, your recipient area looks as I would expect it to look as it is free of crusting and now healing at its normal rate. I doubt that the headache is cause by the hair transplants
