I have a mole very close to my right eye. Can I get rid of it? (Photo)

It has outgrown. The extended part used to get detached itself when i used to rub it while washing my face or something similar. One day, I got irritated from it and got a cut while rubbing it. From that time, it has lengthen a lot and I wanna get rid of it .
