Just had filler removed so I can see my under eyes, filler not working any more, do i have a Blepharoplasty and do I add fat?
Answer: Lower blepharoplasty Hi @rachaelgodd86. You would be a great candidate for a lower blepharoplasty. A lower blepharoplasty will address the herniated fat pads and excess skin under your eyes giving you a more refreshed and rested appearance. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

Answer: Lower blepharoplasty: what you should know Thank you for your question and photo. It is possible to improve the under-eye appearance with a lower blepharoplasty procedure. This surgery can smooth the transition between the eye and upper cheek by sculpting or removing excess fat and skin, depending on each patient’s individual situation. By contouring and restructuring the lower lid, the eyes can appear more open, awake, and refreshed, with results lasting approximately 10 years or more. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can make the best suggestion for helping you achieve your cosmetic goals.

Answer: Lower blepharoplasty Thank you for your question. A lower blepharoplasty is helpful for reducing eyelid fat pad show. Some surgeons such as myself also will transfer the fat pad into the tear trough to act like a natural filler that's permanent. A resurfacing procedure can also be performed at the same time to tighten the skin and reduce wrinkles. I hope that helps, and all the best to you. -Dr. P
