Hi:I would prefer the two front teeth to be a little longer. However, the veneers do not look bad. A full face photo could also help with more accurate advice.Best,Dr. Maddahi
You smile design is based on what you want it to look like and the dentist works to get you there within the restrictions of your all other teeth.Your picture also shows your lower front teeth only PLUS your upper smile.....this is probably the issue as your lower incisors are too high naturally.....probably the etiology of "why" you wanted veneers in the first place. We have to make your bite and teeth work harmoniously together, top and bottom, and if the lower teeth are not manipulated, they will restrict the upper teeth. Of course more expense will be needed to get the lower teeth in a more favorable position, crowns/veneers or orthodontics/intrusion etc.Think about it this way, the lower front teeth typically fit inside your upper front teeth. The lower will greatly influence the shape and position of your upper front teeth.
The length of the centrals usually should be at same Invisalign edge position as the canines. They should follow the curvature of your lower lip. In your case, they do seem a little short. If the centrals are lengthened, the laterals would also need to be lengthened. An easy exercise to see how the additional length woul look would be to have your dentist add a small amount of composite to each veneer to increase their length. This would only be placed temporarily, not chemically bonded to the veneer. This would give you an idea if the new length is really what you want and how it would look. If you do decide to change the veneers, I would only change the four front teeth. All that being said, your smile looks pretty good the way it is. The ultimate question is If you are happy with them. If you are not, then I would definitely have them removed and lengthened.
Your porcelain veneers look fine, I would wait couple of weeks, to see if you adjust to them, before shortening it! shortening the veneers might give you wider teeth, in which you might not like! Once you shorten you can not add length any more, and see if you can pronounce the letters such...
Your two front incisors are not the same shade as your other teeth. 3 things will control the final shade, the veneer, the tooth and the veneer cement. Nothing is harder cosmetically as trying to make two objects glued to a tooth look just like your natural teeth.....but it...
You are a great candidate for porcelain veneers. In addition you would benefit with a bit of gingival recontouring to bring symmetry to your smile and add size to your canine teeth. Regarding the missing tooth, if an implant is not possible, I would recommend an all...
