Do my veneers look normal? I'm 4 days post op. I cannot decide if I want to go back to dentist because they feel too long.

Question

I had 6 top vaneers placed 4 days ago. They are still sore and feel awkward in my mouth. The dentist at first said they might need shaving down in length but then said they looked good after he was finished. I still feel like they look too long, any thoughts? Will getting them shaved down in length help them feel better? Do I just need to give it time to adjust or are they too bulky? It just feels weird and sore. I put 2 before pictures and a few after.

Your porcelain veneers look fine, I would wait couple of weeks, to see if you adjust to them, before shortening it!
shortening the veneers might give you wider teeth, in which you might not like!
Once you shorten you can not add length any more, and see if you can pronounce the letters such as "s" or "m" correctly prior to shortening them, as far as the bulky part see if you can get used to it.
The good dentist can not take the bulkiness away, but he can shorten it, if need be!
