Hi prasanthLipomas will not cause any problem if you work outbut again lipomas will not be cured if you workout too.best of luck
Thanks for your question. As you may be aware, lipomas are benign fatty soft tissue tumors. As they do not interfere with joints, muscles, or bone, they should have no influence on function or activity. Enjoy the gym and good luck with your fitness regimen!
Thank you for your question and photograph. As lipomas are benign (non-cancerous) masses of fat that can be found anywhere in the body, they will not prevent you from joining a gym. The lipomas will not pose a risk to you, or to others, as you work out. Hope this helps.
Thank you for your question. The incision need not be as large as the lipoma as they can 'pop out" of smaller diameter incisions during expert surgical exxcision with great cosmetic outcomes. You can certainly join a gym and exercise if it is not symptomatic.I recommend that you have the lipoma on your wrist removed.BestDr. Karamanoukian
Lipomas are benign growths and should not impact your ability to work out, at least in theory. However, depending on how large and where they are, some may become painful with specific exercises. Those should be avoided if they are causing discomfort. You can speak with a board-certified plastic surgeon concerning their removal, which can normally be accomplished with a small incision directly over each one. You may find exercising more comfortable after some or all of them have been removed.I hope that this helps and good luck,Dr. Alan EnglerMember of #RealSelf100
