While I doubt Thuja will have any significant impact on your hair, good or bad, I suppose it couldn't hurt to try. I would recommend a more proven medicine though, such as Finasteride/Minoxidil or even just laser therapy if your hair is mostly intact.
Using Finasteride and Minoxidil together is far more effective than just using one. Yes they are both a lifetime commitment.
