I have a bump on my nose which makes me feel insecure. Any suggestions? (photos)

The bump on your nose is common and can be addressed with nasal surgery...AFTER a complete exam has been performed on both the inside and outside of your nose.  Also, you never addressed what happened a year ago -- were you hit in the nose or did you have prior surgery?  Unfortunately, exercises will not help this situation.  You should seek the consultation of a facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon.  I wish you well,Parker A. Hi, thank you for the question... and photos, these photos do not show your complete nasal anatomy. From what is shown in the picture, you have a nasal hump... it could be from your nasal bones or from your nasal cartilage.. The way to correct it is with surgery. 

A closed rhinoplasty approach can remove the dorsal hump, which is composed of both bone and cartilage. Osteotomies of the nasal bones are then required to narrow the bridge line. Look for a very experienced rhinoplasty surgeon, since rhinoplasty  is one of the hardest operations to  perform in the entire field of  cosmetic surgery

There are rhinoplasty techniques that can improve the appearance of the nose. Many patients are happier and feel more confident after their surgery. But your appearance doesn't justify feeling insecure about your looks. You need to reflect on the source of your insecurity.

The hump on the bridge of your nose can be improved with a natural appearing rhinoplasty.

Keep in mind that following the
advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you
what to do based on  limited two dimensional photos without examining you,
physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full
medical history, and discussing the pros and cons of each operative procedure
would not be in your best interest. I would suggest you find a plastic surgeon
certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the
American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) or facial plastic
surgeon (otolaryngologist) that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your
concerns with that surgeon in person.
