It depends on if they are dissolvable or not dissolvable sutures (stiches) to begin with, as there are some that do not dissolve. Among the types that dissolve, it depends on which type your surgeon used as there are some that dissolve after a couple days and others that can take 6 months. Thus, it is best to ask your surgeon this question, since they know what suture they used.
