I have a soft lump on my cheekbone under one eye. It appeared gradually but has likely been there at least 2 years. My ENT ordered an MRI, which showed "subtle increased volume of fat underlying the platysma and facial musculature on the left in the immediate infraorbital region. It does not appear encapsulated as would be typical in a lipoma." I assume it will keep (slowly) growing, & am wondering if removal is possible w/o scarring or recurrence. Thank you!
