Will deep plane facelift look overly snatched at first?

Question

Had a friend who had a deep plane mid/lower face lift. I’m interested in one too. As of now she’s post op day 4, but expresses concern that she thinks it was pulled back too much and she looks tighter than expected. Does it loosen over time? Does it drop over time? How long does it take before the “overly pulled” look goes away? She was expecting a natural outcome and thinks it looks too snatched. I’m curious because I was planning to go to the same surgeon but if she is unhappy with her results then i will need to reconsider my choice as well. However, i know its early in her recovery and she does too so we are hoping that her final outcome will be one she likes.

It's far, far, ......far too early to make any sort of judgment on the final result. The initial result is expected to look exaggerated at this point. If you are basing your decision on which Surgeon to choose, wait 3-6 months before forming your opinion.

It is too early to evaluate what your friend’s final result will be. I would  give it about 2 months before you assess  her result especially if you plan on using the same surgeon
