Is it possible for one to have a heavy brow/lids but not enough laxity for a surgical lift? Why cant we mimick the effects of face tape via surgery? What causes the limitations? Thank you!

Answer: Brow lift limits It is very difficult to address this questions without any information about your problem. In general, forehead soft tissues are a composition of different layers which move between each other and also together. Effect that you can achieve with tape or fingers by pulling forehead up may not always be achieved with surgery in particular if fixation point is too high (in the hairline or close to it). A direct brow lift where fixation point or skin excision is within proximity of eyebrow is more efficient in that regard but has some other limitations. Hope this helps.
