I had a nose piercing and unfortunately made the mistake of wearing silver stud. It oxidized and now that I've taken out the ring, there is a dark spot. I believe it is argyria. I tried using hydroquinone to remove the spot, but to no avail. Are there other options, topical or surgical that I can do? Thanks in advance.

I would agree with my colleagues that while filler can be effective it is temporary. Subcision at the time of filler injection does help to lift the scar away from deeper tissues. A permanent solution would be scar excision, meticulous closure and possible dermabrasion to provide the best...
I treat many of these ulcers and feel that you should first be evaluated with a functional ultrasound to assess the quality and function of your veins. These scars are usually a result of hemosiderin and melanin.
I think fillers under depressed scars a futile. The scar is just too rigid to elevate. Therefore a scar revision is indicated in most circumstances.
